SAIGON PAPER JOINT STOCK COMPANY ORGANIZES LABOR CONFERENCE IN 2024

Pursuant to the Labor conference regulations issued on July 1, 2023 by the Company’s General Director.

Implement grassroots democratic regulations at the enterprise.

On May 9, 2024, the Company’s Board of Directors in coordination with the grassroots Trade Union successfully organized the 2024 Labor Conference.

The 2024 Labor Conference was solemnly held with the participation of the Company’s Board of Directors:

+ Mr. Kiyoaki Tsuda – General Director

+ Mr. Katayama Yusuke – Director of Corporate Administration Division

+ Mr. Pham Minh Hung – Senior Manager of Production Department

+ Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu – Manager of Human Resources Administration Department

Members of the Trade Union Executive Committee, members of the Trade Union Inspection Committee. Besides, there are also 80 delegates representing the Company’s departments/sections.

The delegates heard the financial disclosure report, the Company’s operating results for the first quarter of 2024, the report on Trade Union activities in the final six months of 2023, and the direction of activities in 2024… The delegates expressed their perspectives on issues concerning workers’ rights and regimes, giving several particular solutions and development orientations with the goal of successfully completing corporate responsibilities in the near future. On behalf of the Corporation’s leaders, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu, Director of Human Resources Administration Department, responded to the employees’ queries and proposals.

Delegates from the company’s departments/sections expressed sincere appreciation to the Board of Directors for their efforts in maintaining the organization of conferences, dialogues between the Managements and employees, and always listening to the opinions/issues of the employees and assisting in their resolution within allowable conditions. This is a bright spot in Saigon Paper Joint Stock Company’s management and operations, and it is one of its key elements that maintains a connection between management and employees, thereby increasing employees’ long-term commitment to the company.

At the end of the Conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep, a Secretariat representative, passed the Conference resolution.

Mr. Cao Nguyen Thu, President of the Grassroots Trade Union, thanked the delegates from the Company’s Departments/Sections for attending the Conference. Plenty of issues were raised and discussed during the conference’s brief duration. Mr. Thu believes that 2024 will be a spectacularly successful year for the company in general, and the Trade Union in particular.

The 2024 Employee Conference of Saigon Paper Joint Stock Company was a great success, achieving the goals and expectations for employees and the company.
