Saigon Paper Company is looking for a talented and enthusiastic General Manager – Human Resources Department to join us at the My Xuan Factory, Phu My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. In this role, you will support stable factory operations through effective workforce management, labor management, workplace safety, and cross-functional communication, while ensuring employee engagement and compliance with labor-related regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage Human Resources and Safety functions to support stable factory operations, effective people management, and timely problem-solving.
– Coordinate closely with factory operations and department managers to resolve workforce, labor, and operational issues in a timely manner.
– Promote effective communication and collaboration among departments, employees, management, and the Trade Union to support stable operations and a positive working environment.
– Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, labor issues, and workplace conflicts in a fair, practical, and compliance-oriented manner.
– Manage and oversee occupational safety, labor hygiene, fire prevention, workplace safety activities, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
– Control and approve recruitment, training, career development, succession planning, and employee capability development programs.
– Develop and implement practical training and capability development plans aligned with operational needs, management expectations, and the Company’s working principles.
– Develop and implement policies related to salary, incentives, benefits, employee retention, employee engagement, and workforce motivation.
– Research, draft, implement, and monitor HR-related policies, regulations, procedures, labor contracts, disciplinary records, training records, safety records, and statutory reports to ensure compliance and effective HR operations.
– Advise management on labor management, employee relations, compensation, recruitment, organizational matters, and people-related risks, and proactively support practical solutions.
– Represent the company in working with government authorities on labor, occupational safety, and related compliance matters.
Request:
– Good computer skills in Microsoft Office, email, and online communication tools.
– Experience in manufacturing or factory environments is preferred.
– Solid experience in labor management, employee relations, disciplinary handling, and Trade Union communication.
– Good understanding of Vietnamese labor laws, occupational safety regulations, and fire prevention requirements.
– Strong practical problem-solving and decision-making ability.
– Good understanding of manufacturing operations, workforce management, and practical management approaches.
