Mr. Hoa

MR. HOA, SALES LEADER OF MEKONG 1 AREA, AND HIS BEAUTIFUL LOVE OF SAIGON PAPER

Once working part-time for Saigon Paper when studying at his university, then temporarily saying goodbye to the Company for about 2 years, later coming back with “his first love” and having retained love for SGP so far are the story of Mr. Vo Minh Hoa, Sales Leader of Mekong 1 area.

Let’s read Mr. Hoa’s sharing to understand why he loves Saigon Paper so deeply.

Hello Mr. float How did you “get married” with Saigon Paper?

I have been bound up with Sai gon Paper (smiles). From mid-2006, when I was a second year student of the Business Administration Faculty of Can Tho University, I worked as a part-time salesman for Saigon Paper. At that time, SGP didn’t have many tissue products, so I mainly sold Saigon Eco toilet paper rolls.

After graduating in early 2010, I stopped working for Sai gon Paper and worked as a Sales Supervisor for an electric fan firm and then as a Sales Representative for a consumer goods importer. In July, 2012, I returned to “the love” of Saigon Paper (smiles). I worked as a Sales Supervisor in Tien Giang Province, managing 3 distributors.

Four years later, I was appointed Chief Sales Supervisor, in charge of sales activities in Tien Giang and 1-2 other provinces (depending on the time, I was arranged to support different provinces).

In September, 2018, I was promoted to Sales Leader of Mekong 1 area (which consists of 6 provinces: Long An, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, Vinh Long and Dong Thap).

Can you please share your main Julie’?

Every week, I’ll make the sales forecast and plan to import goods into distributors based on the Sales Supervisors’ recommendations and based on checking the sales progress of the month, then report to the superior.

I also research the market to see what products of our competitors are growing so that I can report and advise my superior.

At the beginning of each month, I’ll review and approve the Sales Supervisors’ business trips to the distributors to boost sales in the provinces in need of support.

For Salesmen, I’ll see the data to see if the monthly sales are increasing. If any Salesman has not met the target yet, I’ll accompany him to the market to help expand the coverage of our SKUs

What has been you most favorite thing during working at Sai gon Paper?

I love the working environment at Saigon Paper because my relationships with my superior and colleagues are very good. We always support each other to get the jobs done. Moreover, I’ve received a clear development orientation for my career path at the Company.

Can you give some advice to Salesmen who want to become a leader like you?

First, if you always think that you arc selling your own products, you will be able to convey the quality and value of our tissue products to distributors and customers. And of course. you’ll receive sweet results later.

In addition, when working. you should put pressure on yourself to complete the work assigned by your superior. If there are difficulties and you cannot overcome all of them, do it at your best.

Can you talk about your hobbles?

I love singing and traveling (laughs).

What is your happiest memory during your journey at Saigon Paper?

That is when I received the Certfficate of Excellence to Outstanding Chief Supervisor in 2018. This is the motivation that have helped my strive to work with the thought “Today must be better than yesterday”.
